Hey Joe Explorer
This ride is a mix of Jeep trails, some singletrack and scenic dirt roads. The ride is called the Hey Joe Explorer because we will explore the Hey Joe Mine and Spring Canyon area. The ride starts in the scenic area called Gemini Bridges then it goes across the Mesa and out to Mineral Point. There is an out and back on the Black line to the viewpoint of the Green River. Next it is along the Hell Roaring Rim and Spring Canyon to the Hey Joe Mine option. This is a 24 mile out and back on the Black line. There could be some jeep obstacles and exposure on this section. After the mine, there is a Red hard option which includes some singletrack.. It could be cool. Rejoining the Blue line, the ride enters on old enduro singletrack section before turning to dirt road. The ride finishes on the Mill Canyon road and highway. What’s fun about this ride? The mine should be way cool and the singletrack should be interesting.

Kane Canyon & Chicken Corners
Kane Canyon has some of the most spectacular canyons and wide open views.  I never get tired of this ride, I do it every time I go to Moab. The route travels the Colorado River Canyon just below Moab, follows a spectacular part of Kane Springs Canyon, climbs the Kane Creek anticline to Hurrah Pass, and descends to benches above the Colorado River. The route dead-ends about 400 feet above the river across from Dead Horse Point State Park. There are several side trip options.  Amasa Back is one of the best.

Behind the Arches
This ride is a great adventure ride around the Arches National Park. The ride starts out on HY128 following the Colorado River for 31 miles and crossing the river near the famous Dewey Bridge, now destroyed by fire (stop and check out the story of the bridge). The ride briefly joins Kokopelli’s Trail and then connects to the Dome Plateau Jeep Trail. There are several natural arches in this area so keep a look out. The ride continues along the back side of the Arches National Park through the Poison Strip Mine, now abandoned and Yellow Cat Flat. Next the ride begins south along Salt Valley Road. Here you get the option of finishing the ride through the center of Arches National Park on the Black line or continuing on the Blue route. There is no gas available on the Black route and your distance for the day should be 115 miles. This is the scenic route through the center of the Park. Staying on the Blue route takes you into the Klondike Bluffs mountain bike area. Here you get the Red option to ride the Sovereign Single Track trail. This is a 15 mile trail through the rocks with many obstacles. At times this can be challenging. There is gas at 98 miles at the Shell station. The last 10 miles to Moab is on the highway. What’s fun about this ride? It is kind of a scenic, relaxing adventure.

Satan's TenMile Expedition
This ride is a mix of fun Jeep trails, some singletrack, some sandy canyons and some scenic dirt roads. The ride is called Satan’s TenMile Expedition because we will explore the sometimes tough turf called “TenMile”. TenMile Canyon will take us all the way down to the Green River. The ride starts on the famous Jeep trail called SevenMile Rim. There is a Green option to skip this section if you like. The ride then traverses the Dubinky Well and Spring Mesa area. Just before TenMile Canyon, there is a 3 mile singletrack section called the “Cow Freckles Trail”. Next is your choice to include TenMile Canyon. The Black line is an out and back 15 mile canyon section all the way to the Green River. It could be sandy. After the canyon there are three choices of routes: Red, Green and Blue. The Red Section contains several singletrack sections and some riding on Slickrock. It is tricky to find your way through some of this section. This is part of the explorer fun. Good luck. The Blue section contains a mix of singletrack and the Green is an easy dirt road. Finally, the ride finishes on the Blue line with some singletrack sections that are part of an old enduro loop. The last several miles are dirt road and highway. What’s fun about this ride? Parts of the ride could be tough, so be prepared for that sort of fun.
